Student Discipline

The school shall maintain good school discipline both inside the school and outside its premises when the children are engaged in activities authorized by the school. These will include field trips to sites, marketing for cooking activities, and the conduct of interview for research purposes.

The new Family Code provides that “school teachers and staff engaged in child care will exercise special parental authority and responsibility over the minor child while under their supervision, instruction or custody. This includes imposing discipline on them as may be required. However, no cruel or physically harmful punishment may be imposed against any student.”

Disciplinary measures are meant to correct erring students to safeguard the name of the school and the progressive development of the students. Offenses are classified into minor and major offenses.
